DOCK OPERATIONS
Lake Providence Port (Mile 484 LMR), Madison Parish Port (Mile
456 LMR), Pointe Coupee Parish Port (Mile 304 LMR), and Alexandria
Port (Mile 91 Red River) all provide custom unloading and
loading of barges. Large cranes on stationary terminal docks
can provide custom unloading and loading of most bulk commodities
that include steel, coal, silica, wood chips, logs, rubber,
and other specialized products. Large conveyor belts attached
to our terminal docks can custom load to barge all types of
grain at Lake Providence and Tallulah, LA
CUSTOM BARGE OPERATIONS
Floating barges with large excavators (Komatsu 600& 400,
Linkbelt 6000) and hydraulic clam buckets can accommodate
custom unloading at most mobile locations on the river system.
Floating barges with cable cranes can also provide specialized
lifting and unloading services.
BARGE CLEANING AND REPAIR
Coast Guard approved sweeping and washing of barges is a service
provided to our customers. Above water barge repair is also
available at most terminal locations.
