BARGES
Terral RiverService owns and operates 47 covered hopper barges. These operate on the Mississippi River System from Minneapolis, MN to New Orleans, LA. Our fleet of barges consists of jumbo hoppers that have been newly constructed within the last 15 years. We also operate standard fleet deck barges with large excavators using hydraulic clam buckets to custom unload bulk materials on the Mississippi River and inland waterways of Louisiana. We operate small cable crane barges for unloading and lifting.

TOW BOATS
Terral RiverService operates 3 Fleeting and Harbor Services on the lower Mississippi River: Lake Providence Harbor (Mile 484 LMR), Madison Port (Mile 456 LMR) and Old River (Mile 304 LMR). We provide mid-stream switching, dock switching, fully insured fleeting, barge cleaning and above water barge repair.
In addition, Terral RiverService operates line tow boats on the lower Mississippi River, Intercoastal Canal, and inland waterways of Louisiana. Our line tow boats range in horsepower from 1,400 HP to 3,000 HP. We started building new line tow boats in 2002 and are continuing to schedule new construction through 2009.
